      1) Soothing Turquoise; 2) Earthy Stone; 3) Chevron pattern (I had this but it was in earth tones & it was beautiful): 4) Wood Panels (you can make them any color – whitewash if u have darker cabinets or darker if you have lighter or white cabinets; 5) Metallic Marble (but only if you have a plain countertop, otherwise it looks too busy). I’ve seen it done with a cement countertop that was a lighter blue and the backsplash looked like waves). It was beautiful; 6) Mediterranean Inspired – I love this one – it’s light and just the right touch if color but it would have to go in a kitchen that had the Mediterranean flair. They are all very pretty. So it depends on what you both want your kitchen to look like.

        Ah such good suggestion!! I am torn between what you said Wood Panels with whitewash, and the colorful grout with subway tile! Thank you for your suggestions! 🙂
